I went thru the US citizenship interview in past April 2005, I have passed the test and I was told that I need to wait around until 6months B4 i get the oath date for citizenship. Some people from the community got the same response and some were given the oath date right away. When I asked them at the interview what is the reason that I am not getting the oath date? I was told that they(US Immigration)have started doing the clearance/security check b4 they hand out the oath dates for applicants.... Any input would be greatly appreciated.
