URGENT: One-way ticket, return date unknown!

Hi,

I am currently on OPT in the US and my sister is planning to visit from India on tourist visa. And then we are planning to return together sometime in the end of december.

I don't have a return date in mind yet, since I still have to sell my car and other things before I can return to India for good.

Now the travel agent says he can't book a one way ticket. Is that true? I was thinking of just booking her a one-way ticket online. Or will she face trouble with INS for entering with a one-way ticket?

Do you think she might get denied entry? Or might she be OK once she explains the reason for a one-way ticket?

There is always a possibility of being denied entry. There is also the possibility of her talking her way out of trouble.
