Urgent :Need Help for travelling from Chicago to Toronto via Road

Hi,
I am planning to travel from Chicago to Toronto via road this weekend
Could anybody help me which route should be better as far as (1)Border crossing is concernred(I have IMM1000 and also valid USA stamped visa).
(2) Traffic rush is concerned ..is there a better route avoiding Detroit?I heard that traffic movement is pretty slow there

Take 94 East into Michigan and then I think it is exit 113 - the exit to Ambassador Bridge . After that take 401 to Toronto. Cant miss it!!

TRaffic is not really bad
