I need some help and an advice on what to do. here is my situation.
I came to the US on a visa waiver program as a German tourist. My waiver expired 174 days ago. The options I have at the moment, as i see them, are:
1. leave the US and get a ban on coming back
(or leave before 180 days and get no ban?)
2. marry my boyfriend and stay in the us
(can i get fiance visa? should I?can i skip fiance visa if I get married now? how can I change my status to legal so I can exit the US and come back in the future with no problem?)
I read that if I leave the US before 180 days of overstaying, I will avoid future bans to enter the country. If anyone knows about this please let me know.
Also, if you could comment on my situation and give me experienced advice on what to do as soon as possible it would be enormously appreciated. thanks!
