Urgent: About change my H4 to F1 as Canadian

Hi, I am canadian, and want to go to Canada/US boader to change my H4 status to F1 status.
Since now I have no any canadian tie, Is it possible for officer to reject me because of this?
For status change, Are I-20, passport, and financial document all necessary doucments? it seems no document necessary to show canadian tie.

Do you know the opportunity for rejection is high or low? For in US or out US, which one is better?
One of my friends got F1 and her husband got F2 at the same time (they have no tie during appying for status in airport), and some TD or TN's change to F1 status without any tie in canada
