TSC or NSC?

Hi All,
I just got the tracking number from my lawyer for the I-485 fedex that he had sent on June 30 and he has sent it to Dallas(TSC) . I live and work in California. I went through the Direct Filing press release and the USCIS link :

and now I am confused as to whether my lawyer did the right thing or its ok to send the application to Dallas?? TSC or he messed up and he should have sent it to NSC?

My lawyer sent to TSC, even though direct filing effective date is July 30th. Based on the below URL, USCIS will not reject any case due to direct filing confusing until August 27th. I hope this helps ...

Thanks- Will TSC then internally transfer to NSC - also will that impact the receipt notice?
