TSC checks cashed??

Hi,
My 485(+EAD+AP) application reached TSC on July 2nd - My lawyer says that in the same packet they included my wifes application too.My I-140 was approved from TSC so my lawyer sent my 485 app directly to TSC

Did anyone who applied for 485 in TSC on July 2nd get their checks cashed?

Also is it ok to include 2 applications (primary + spouse) in one packet?
