Travelling Outside the country without I94.

I have applied for visa extension for my parents who are in US. Their I94 form have been submited to INS. I am planning to take them to canada - They have a valid canadian single entry visa valid for 6 months.

Will it be ok for them to travel across the border and come it without an I94.
