Travel After Oath, but before Passport?

Can you travel on your native contry's passport after you have taken the oath, but before you receive your US passport? What is the quickest way to get your US passport after the oath taking ceremony? Thanks.....!
 
No, and go to a passport agency with proof of travel to obtain the quickest passport.

My 2 cents.
 
You can certainly leave the country, but you wouldn't be able to get back into the US without a US passport and you wouldn't have your green card as that is taken at the oath ceremony.

Both my wife and I have used the expedited service and got our passports back in our hands in 7 and 9 calendar days respectively back in Nov and Dec.

I think there are even faster ways to do it if you have proof of a pending trip
 
Usually, after oath they take your GC. How do you plan and getting back into the country?

If it is an emergency, I think you can visit your local PP office and explain.
