Transfer to CSC notice. What does it mean?

My father's I130 and I485 got transfered to the CSC. The notice said that this was done to speed up processing.Is this true?
No clue why mother's wasn't sent there as well. Does this mean it'll take longer to go through the whole process or not? You guys are great on this forum.

Most of parent cases are transfered to CSC. It means they don't need an interview and their cases can be approved in couple of months assuming name check get cleared quickly. My parents' cases were transfered in less than a month and before they took FP. Today, both of their I-130 were approved. I-485 approval shuold be on the way... I hope. Good luck.
