transfer of B1 to H1b

Hi,

I am travelling on B1 next month. Can i change the status of B1 to H1B under Premium proceessing or do I neeed to wait till Oct'06 to get the H1 processed. In that case do I need to come back to India and get H1 stamped or it can can be done there itself in US..

YOu have to wait for April to file H1 and wait for Oct to start working unless you have MS degree from the US.
