December visa bullentin looks horrible. Guys start looking for another alternatives. May be Canada because of easier immigration and weakening $$$$, It will make very good sense. I am thinking really hard about this.

Not a bad idea if you can find a job up there. My Canadian PR has already expired. Wonder if I should get it reinstated if the situation does not improve and with a Loony worth almost US $1.10.
 
hi all,
I happened to call the NSC last friday and spoke with a very rude person, I was told that the NC is cleared for me and my spouse too.But, I did not get any LUD's in the online status. Is there any chance of getting GC in the near future? What will be next prodecure after NC Clearance. Pls advice.
Since, EB2 has also been retrogressed, I am worried, whether is there any visas left. Is it possible to ask NSC, whether visa number has been allocated?
My PD: March 2003,
I-485: June 2007: EB2, India

Please advice.

EB2 - NSC - I485 approved - Notice mailed welcoming new PR

Finally the moment/day has arrived for us !!!! I checked the status online and there you go, to my utter surprise, I see an LUD of today - 11/19/2007 on our (me and wife) I485 cases. Opened it with my heart pounding faster and could not believe my eyes ----- It said ....................

"Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident"

Guys, finally the long struggle is over....and am sure many of us will see their approvals also very soon and wish all of you the very best !!!!!!

We did not get any LUDs on I485 after the FP (08/28/2007) . Also, no emails about the approval from cris.

Please see the details below.

Congratulations on the approval. Looks like all the recent approvals are for just EB1 and EB2.

Today, I got an LUD on my year long ago approved I-140. Is it something I should be happy about it? Please advise if someone had the same scenario.

What a royal mess USCIS has created for all of us!! Who says slave labor has been abolished - Our situation is no different from the folks who suffered long back. The lazy-ass, good-for-nothing Congress would rather talk about whether or not to fund the Iraq mess than discuss how to retain us folks who keep the US economy growing by paying hefty taxes, buying homes, driving innovation, being law-abiding foriegners, etc. And then they say China and India are dragging us down because of their cheap/affordable labor force!!

The US Congress has the power to initiate and influence good economic policies, that will continue to keep US competetive, provide better opportunities to citizens, and being the hub of innovation but they would rather indulge in "blame-storming" than "brain-storming". Pretty soon the EU will start giving US a run for its money, specially with the rise of the Euro and the introduction of the "Blue Card".

You are absolutely correct. Even Cananda is getting in the mix to lure educated people around the globe.
 
One day United states of America will become Russia once all the educated people leave this country for safety and oppurtunity elsewhere. Seeing all this gun shots in school and colleges and all world terrorists eyeing to bomb United states makes me think am I really safe in this land of oppurtunity? We might be in a wrong assumption that this country is better than any country in the world. It looks like the other way around. Now a days most Indian nationals tend to go invest in their own country than try to stay in America. Guys in reality is it worth waiting more than half of your life for a peice of Plastic?. It seems like we need to find our strength and say once in for all enough is enough and leave this country together for our Mother land. ladies and Gentlemen I beleive our Mother is calling us. Lets start a thread and organize a group and once in for all tell this racist and corrupted Congress that we leaving for our mother land.

This evening i received my 485 Approval notice. No email though. Just now I checked the online status and it showing as Card Production Ordered.

Looks like my GC JAGADAM over.

I heard that i have to go and get stamped in my passport. Could someone give me details?

Any body knows how long can one stay outside US using AP. Can we go for a vacation for 3 months?

Just for statistic purposes, if anyone interested.

I got EAD I-765 "Card production ordered".

I did not file I-765 in June, but I filed I-765 online later on November 1st 2007, Receipt date is 11/05/2007
BIO/FP appointment for EAD (index finger + picture) on 12/12/2007. Card production ordered e-mail 01/22/2008.

I-765 EAD online process took 2.5 months.
 
Hi guys
I have my I140 approved and it is EB3 category. Can I apply 485, I176, and 131 now? I know the visa is not current for EB3. I just wanted to apply and wait....My country belongs to "Others" in visa bulletin. My Priority date is Feb 2005.
