I was wondering, when submitting N-400 application, what is the fastest application processing office in the U.S. and the slowest one?

My guess would be that the slowest will be big cities like New York or Chicago. And the fastest will be areas with low percentage of applications like Nebraska maybe?

Intuitively you would think so but that's only partially true.

Large offices (although not as large as NY, LA) such as San Jose, Seattle, and Cleveland are the top fastest (2.5 months). Smaller offices like San Antonio, TX etc. are worse (5 months).

Got this data from a USCIS report.

True! The Salt Lake City DO is not that busy but one of the slowest! They takes 5 months to schedule the interview and then add more for oath.
