My lawyer also told me that my case is going under detailed review.
So I contacted my local congressman and found out that my case is going under name check.
Still waiting .Im wac 02080 XXXX.RD Jan 02 .

What is the procedure or meaning for name check? After FBI received the finger print, they conduct a detailed background check on the applicant? when they finish the check, they send the result back to USCIS and tell USCIS that the person is ok to be adjudicated? Is the name check completely random?
