Hi,

Got a surprised approval email this morning which states that the I-485s of
both my wife and myself had been approved on May 6, 2004. I also checked
both the on-line information and called the USCIS automatic voice message
for double confirmation. Yes, both of them provide us the same surprised approval information. Here is my case data:

EB1-OR
- No Labor certificate required
- I-140: RD: Jan.2002
AD: Dec.2002 (Yes, it took almost 11 months to get approved).
- I-485: RD: Jan.30, 2003
AD: May 6, 2004 (As per the email notification, on-line message
and phone verification)
- 2 EAD and 2 AP (used AP three times, :)...).

So, could some one tell me how much time does it take to receive
the approval letter, in days? And also, who, my lawyer, myself or both,
will recieve the approval letter?

This forum is so great that I have been getting help and learning the latest
progress on I-485 application in the CSC center (now, called USCIS).

Thank everyone for helping us go through this lengthy and tough procedure!
May everyone gets his/her approval soon!

Approval letter would come in Max a week

Hi, First all Congratulations on your speedy approval. Mine took 6 days (including weekend). Approved on 29th and received mail at my home address on 4th May and at Attorney's office on 5th May. Both you and your attorney would receive a copy of the approval letter.

It is rather sad to see ourselves reduced to a pathetic state of relativity that an approval in 15+ months is called speedy.

Only God can help deliver us from BCIS

Thank you, for all the congratulations!

Hello,

Thank you for all the greetings!

Yes, my case is not a concurrent filing case -- actually my company did/does
not allow to file concurrently. Don't know why. Just company's policy.

Oh, by the way, there is no RFE issued for my case. My fingerprint was
taken in the March of 2003. Maybe it is due to the impending expiration
of my fingerprint that has triggered the approval.

Got approval notice in letters: Need Stamping Experience in San Francisco

Hello,

Today, we got approval notice in letters for both my wife and myself.
We are now feeling so relieved! :) I got the approval message through
email on last Friday (May 7) and found the case was approved on May 6,
2004. It took 4 days to get the letter.

Thank you everyone who makes this website a great forum! Now, we need
information regarding passport stamping in the San Francisco INS office.

Could someone, who got his/her passport stamped there recently, please
share the experience? Thank you very much!

Mine is pre-approved labor
140 & 485 Filed March 2003 - Concurrent

140 NOT APPROVED YET
485 APPROVED BOTH OF US(MYSELF AND MY WIFE).

No idea how this happened...140 not approved and 485 approved.

We are going for stamping tomorrow to Newark. Please post any of your experiences. Lawyer asked me to be there around 5 AM.
