Supporting Letter

Hi,
I received a supporting letter from the company willing to hire me by email (scanned). Is that enough or I need it by Mail?
Thank you

Thank you Mister for your reply.
I have another question: can I just bring with me the supporting letter with no work starting date in it. It says only I'll be working for the company for a period of up to three years from the date of entry in TN status.
Thanks

I have the offer letter with starting date but saying " Engineering Specialist" as position (supporting letter mentioned "Engineer" as a position but with no starting date).

When my husband applied first time the letter didn't have start date, it has "we request you grant TN visa for 3 years starting immediately".

He has the offer letter with him in case if the officer ask, but the officer didn't ask. But for my friend the supporting letter didn't have the start date the officer asked him to come back with a new letter with start date. This was at windsor/detroit border. My friend went the next day with updated letter and he got the TN. Even for my friend officer didn't ask for offer letter.

Thanks Tayyi10 again,
I have a printed copy sent by email for the supporting letter and a copy of my son birth certificate. Do you have an idea if this is acceptable?

I went back to my TN letter from a couple of years ago and noticed this: "We anticipate a need for Mr. XYZ's services for a 3-year period starting Jan-abc-2015 until Jan-def-2018". I went for my TN about a week ahead of the actual start date and they gave me a 3-yr TN based on the TN-letter. HTH. Let me know if you have more Qs and I can lookup my TN letter and provide info as required
