I got my H-1B stamp without any problem yesterday in Montreal. I transferred from J-2 to F-1 two years ago with the 2-year home residency waiver. My H-1B petition was approved in January. The only question that the consul asked was "Is this your first H-1 visa?". But she read through my documents very carefully.
