Hi Guys,
I'm selecting a new H1 contracting company (SAGA, Elite Careers, Marlabs Inc) for a new contract client i have.
Each has a different method of how much they charge for GC Process, one has internal legal staff while the other uses Rajeev Khanna or Sheila Murthy.
My Question is please tell me what are the pitfalls i should look for and whats involved in the PERM/GC Process?
Here's my understanding..please correct if wrong....
I'll initiate my GC Process...
45-60 days for preparation, ad running, waiting period for ads....
LC Process starts...
PERM Filing..approval in 45-60 days for EB-2 (I Have a Masters)
I-480 filing...approval time..?
I-485 filing...approval time..?
I'm not sure when EAD is issued? When change of status occurs? When can i claim to be free of the H1 visa?
If i know the process...maybe i can make better sense of which contractor will have my GC approved the fastest...like i've heard some contractors have running ads...so you save 45-60 days for ad prep/running/waiting period..is that possible?
End-to-end...what is the typical time for a Eb-2 GC Process?
