Please reply to my questions.

1) My wife and I received work authorization cards yesterday. What next we need to do.
2) Can we go to SSA office without approval latter as we have only cards right now?
3)I already have SS# from H-1B, will they issue me a new card based on EAD?

1) My wife and I received work authorization cards yesterday. What next we need to do.

Go to the SSA office with EAD and valid passport (for your wife). Fill form ss5, it will take up to 12 weeks to get card

2) Can we go to SSA office without approval latter as we have only cards right now?

YES, take EAD and valid passport

3)I already have SS# from H-1B, will they issue me a new card based on EAD?

Thanks for your response. Do I still need to go to SSA and tell them about the social security card (With INS permission) I have. Will they issue me a new card with same social security number?
