Sending the N-400 application again

Hi,

I have applied for citizenship on July 14th by priority mail with delivery confirmation. So far it has not reached
the destination. Also the check has not been encashed.
I should have sent it by expressmail.

My question is Can I send another application before July 30th?. Effective July 30th (postmarked on or after 30th) will have to accompany new fee.

Since not sure if the first application reaches, planning to send another application. Is it a good idea or not?

Did you send it with tracking number?
If you have a tracking number, call your post office to ask them what happened.
 
I would bite the bullet and wait for your first package to get processed. Some centers have "frontlog" because of so many people trying to beat the clock. If there is a way to track the package, you could try and track it. I think sending two applications, although doable would lead to follow up action in your part to cancel one of your cases, and I don't think you want to complicate this to potentially save some money.
