I landed in Canada alongwith my wife and son in Sept 2001 and then moved to USA and working here in under L1B visa
Last month(Aug 15,2003) we travelled to Toronto and applied for PR card
Recently came to know that apart from passport and IMM1000 doc we need to show another photo ID issued by Canadian Province(Like Health Card,Driving Licnce etc)
As we stayed in Canada only for couple of weeks we don't have any of those photo IDs
My questions are
(1) If we make another trip to Canada and pass G1 licence written test can we use that as photo ID?(I don't want to surrender my USA driving licence to get a Canadian G licence directly)
(2) How I'll get PR card for my 4 year old son,He won't have health card or any oter photo ID?Will CIC handover PR card based on our photo ID and his biRthcertificate?
(3) How much time CIC normally gives in sending the PR card pick up letter and actual pick up date?
(4) If we applied in Mid Aug 2003 can we expect pick up date by End Nov 2003?Can CIC make different pick up date for me and my family?
