Seattle Regional DOL Tracker

data file of 2004 is not very updated, but when I plugged some values from this forum into it, it came out with interesting statistics.
Since March 22nd 05, they have been processing ~150 applications per working day

Gurus,

New user to this particular thread...y'all doing a superb job here with the date tracking..

Question...the Seattle Regional Labor Certs are not being moved to the BRC correct? My understanding is that they are being processed at the SFO center itself...(as Cool_Baba said..150 applications per day)

Anyone care to guess when they may start doing Nov 2004 cases?

Cheers!

150 applications is about a month worth of application for WA (which takes most of the Seattle Regional DOL cases) - they clearly arent processing that much per day (otherwise the queue would have been empty by now)

15 cases per day seems like a more reasonable estimate.

for the november cases - there is not enough data to make any estimate since during the first half of september there were more applications transfered to the Regional DOL then in any of the previous month - and there is no data past the 16th of September in the database

I myself hope that there is not many more cases in there since my case was transfered to the regional Dol in mid oct 2004. if they continue to work with the same speed they might get to my case in June of this year - but again this is a very rough estimate...

3/22/2005 9587105
3/28/2005 9587157
3/31/2005 9588130
4/06/2005 9588833
according to the data file shared on link above, there are percisely 1594 cases from 3/22 to 4/6.
plz note that this is figure is not for WA only.

Aren't some of those cases from states transferred to BRCs, such as CA? If yes, then we can do the math only if we know the proportion what's transferred vs. what's not.

RIR Vs Non-RIR

Hi Guys,
Does any one know for sure if the SFO DOL is giving priority to the RIR cases now or
are they going by the FIFO based on (SFO DOL) Received date?
If they are giving priority to the RIR cases, then how do they do it?
Is it by processing 1 non-RIR for every 3-RIR cases per day or something like that?

Thanks

Seattle Regional DOL processes cases majority of which come from WA, ID, OR (with some from hawai and guam?)

it shares it's numbers with cases filed in CA

to calculate how many cases they process per month you'll need to filter our all cases except for the ones from WA, ID and OR and you'll get a number which is close enough to the real one

LC Approved

One of my Friend's LC got approved yesterday. The case has been filed from Arizona and following are the details.

Case#: 09590XXX, RD:July 28th 2004, Certified on APR. 12th 2005

Mine was filed in Az in non-RIR. Do you have any details about your friend's case
-> Was it RIR or non-RIR
-> Is that for a software engineer (DOT code if available).

Thanks,

PV

any software approvals for 031 and 032

I noticed that none of the applications with DOT codes 031 and 032 are being approved or at least not updated on AVM. Is there any body who has recived approvals recently whose applications have filed with a DOT code 031 and 032.
I have filed from AZ(RIR) 09591XXX with a DOT code of 031(software Engineers). RD is 08/26/2004.
I am really worried if DOL is not processing any software professional applications

Plight of S/W Engineers

Seems very true. Also looks like some applications were processed few days after reaching regional office while s/w engineer applications have been neglected altogether - seems totally unfair to me - but then when has DOL ever been about fairness!!

use phone# 415-975-4617 option 1,1, for latest updates.

I used a crude "numerical method" ;) to pull out some latest cases approved for WA last week. I don't think things are slowing. :)

LC approval notice from the DOL

How long (on avg) for Lawer to receive LC approval notice from the DOL after it is updated on the AVM?
Thanks

I checked the AVM today and here is what I found:
09591033 RD Aug-18 2004, Certified Apr 20 2005, Software Engineer (DOT 030.062-010)
09591036 RD Aug-20 2004, Certified Apr 22 2005 , Software Engineer(DOT 030.062-010)

Avm

When you are calling AVM, how do you know what state your case number belongs to? It may easily be one of those sent to BRC or something like this.

novdad

Did you receive your LC approval in mail? Mine was approved last friday. I also wonder how long it takes to receive the official copy. Thanks.
