RFE - what would happen

if you do not get RFE at 485 stage and approved but by that time you are not working with the sponsoring company.
can you go ahead and get stamped in passport?
what are all options?

can any body tell me in what kind of situation that INS would ask for RFE? What if i changed job right after company helped me with my 485?
Is it possible that I get my approval without asking for A NEW W2?

If you do not get a RFE, you can go ahead and get it stamped.

I am not in a situation like yours. When you go for stamping you
 don\'t need an employment letter from your sponsoring company. You
 just need to take the recent paystubs, from the company you are
 currently working.

 The officer who stamps your passport, will not ask for an employment
 letter and check if that is the sponsoring company. In 5 minutes
 you will get everything done.

I did not know about having to take recent paystubs for stamping. Did the stamping officer actually ask for these or is it that you just took them with you?

Where did you get the stamp?
