Hi:
I just saw that the revalidation/reissuance service is closing after july 16th. I am confused with the jargons reissuance, revalidation etc and am hoping someone can help me understand.

1. I have applied for H1B (completing first 3 yrs and applied for another 3yrs) in June 2004. I do not intend to go out of the country for any purpose. My question is, do I HAVE to go out and get a stamp on my passport to work or can I just keep working when my approval papers come in. I came to this country on J1 and converted to H1B. So I never got my passport stamped with H1, as I never went out of USA since then.

2. My husband's H1B expires OCT 2005. Can his employer apply for a extension (completes first 3 yrs) anytime now?

thanks for your help.

You can continue working as long as you have an H1B approval, you need a visa only if you need to step out of the coutry.

Your husband can apply for his extension anytime.
