Reusing somebody\'s Labor

Hi,
These days i am thinking to apply for my GC.
Just now my employer told me that he has one case of cleared LC of some other employee (whose profile matches with mine). He told me I can use that LC for me as that employee has left my employer. Now I wanna know,
1. Is it possible to do that?
2. How beneficial for me, to use this LC other than applying for new one.
3. Wht is cost benefits?
4. Wht is processing time benefits?
5. Wht are loop holes if any?

This is a tough market to get labor approval. Go ahead and take advantage of it. I have a friend who had been through this process without any problem. He already got his GC.
