I have a US passport (via naturalization) and am applying for tourist visa + renunciation together.
It appears that I have to fill out these forms:
1.
If you have your most recent Indian passport Download Renunciation Certificate Form. Two copies of the completed form Required.
3.
Download Declaration of Renunciation of Indian Form. Two copies of the completed.
4.
Deemed Surrender Certificate Declaration of Renunciation of Citizenship of India on Acquisition of Citizenship of another Country
and then also this 'application' form: http://www.visa.blsindia-usa.com/forms/OCI_Renunciation.pdf
I'm confused as the application form says: "I am a registered overseas citizen of India" and later on asks for "Number and date of certificate of registration as overseas citizen of India". I'm not an overseas citizen of India yet and I don't have that number. What should I fill out here? Or is the application form not needed?
