Regarding GC for my mother!!

Hello,

My wife is a US citizen. If she applies for my mother then how long will it take to get her GC?

I have heard that if a person applies for his parents then it takes around 1 yr ? If my wife applies for my mother then will it take same time . Pls suggest.

Good question, I would also like to know this answer to this one. About whether as a USC, I can apply for my husband's family to get GCs and how long that process is.
 
I-130 has to be filed by the immediate relative and InLaws are not considered immediate. So the answer is you'll have to wait till you become a us citizen
 
what netesh means is that you have to be a citizen (3years wait) then apply for your mom (6mos wait) so all in all, less than 4 years.
