I got an RFE on my 7th year extension of my H1. I have been given till NOV 17th to respond to the RFE.
Last week I have received my Receipt Date on my I485 application i.e. Jul 31st. I can get my Interim EAD in first week of November which is before my RFE response time given date Nov 17th.
My Attorney has adviced that we should not respond to the RFE and just wait till we get my iEAD. And, once we get the iEAD we can forget about responding to the RFE.
Do think it is safe to do this..
