Hi Everyone,
People on this forum has been very helpful when my PD was not current and everything was very confusing. So, I thought I would share my experience. I received my greencard couple of days ago! I am talking about the actual physical card not just the approval letter. My details are as below.
Processing center: California
Citizen: India
Category: EB-2
My prioriate date: May 2001.
I-140 was approved: Sep. 2002.
I-485 was filed: Sep. 2005.
Biometrics were done: Nov. 2005.
Received EAD and Advanced Parole: Nov. 2005.
Received physical green card: March 2006.
I was suprised that my PD became current only in Feb and everything was processed so quickly right after that. I was definitely happily surprised!
Thanks again everyone who answered my questions previously. And, it does look like that things are moving fast once PD becomes current.
Osho
