Hi All,

I am about to file my 485 within one or two weeks.
Can Somebody enlighten me for the following questions.

1. What is A# (Alien No)?Is it the one on your 140 Approval in the
beneficiary column.I heard most people leave blank.Any specific reason?

2. My wife is about to deliver a baby within six weeks. Can she be able
to take the medicals? If not all can she able to take few tests? If we do
not have immunization records-Should we take those now?

3. Does children under six years should also go through medicals?

3.I have gone through lot of discussions in this forum regarding tax
returns and w-2\'s.Most of the discussions prevail that tax returns or w-2\'s
or form i-134 or 1-864 are not required for EB categories. Is that right?

4.My lawyer indicates only employment letter is enough to provide
proof of support for the family members that they do not become public
charge.I also looked in lot of web sites, but nowhere referred other
documentation except employment letter. She says in some cases unnecessary
documentation provides unnecessary hedaches other than asked for. Should I agree with her?

5.She also doesnot want to enclose bank statements, paystubs, tax returns
w-2\'s or forms 134 or 864 for family members(affidavit of support). Will that be alright?I read somewhere in GKING\'s discussions that these are any more required.

6.Is it a better idea to wait until my wife delivers baby and go to medicals and the file 485?(b\'cas its only 5 or 6 weeks)

7.My wife does not have birth certificate? Will it be enough if I provide
affidavits from both of her parents?

8.If we do not apply for EAD\'s & AP\'s Will there be any faster processing
of 485?

Finally I need to mention one important thing here.I have to file from TSC

Your advices are very valuable to me and I appreciate
you if you throw some light.

Thanks
Naveen

No Title

INS will issue you an Alien number when they receive and accept your completed 485 application

>2. My wife is about to deliver a baby within six weeks. Can she be able

You probably do not want to inject drugs into her at this stage.
But it is her doctor\'s call. If you want to wait a few weeks you can, but you can also send in her application without th eMEdical. INS will ask for it later, via an RFE.

>3. Does children under six years should also go through medicals?

Yes. However their PCP would have record of their immunizations.

>3.I have gone through lot of discussions in this forum regarding tax

Different lawyer\'s have different opinions. I submitted two years W2 and tax returns and Affidavit of support

Cannot answer that.

see above.

>6.Is it a better idea to wait until my wife delivers baby and go to medicals and the file 485?(b\'cas its only 5 or 6 weeks)

Your call.

>7.My wife does not have birth certificate? Will it be enough if I >provide affidavits from both of her parents?

I think you need to provide a Certificate of Non-Availibilty AND two affidavits.

>8.If we do not apply for EAD\'s & AP\'s Will there be any faster >processing
>of 485?
EADs and APS are processed separately anyway.

>Finally I need to mention one important thing here.I have to file >from TSC

The above holds for any service center
