Questions about POE

Hi everybody
i got my visa last week ...i'm planning to travel to US after 10 days...
i have two questions:
1- is it allowed to change the Green card receiving address @ the airport?
2- i'll come first to New York then i'll wait 6 hours for chicago flight ...could i finish my papers with immigration office @ NY airport?

For question #2, u've gat plenty of time
or change of address, i don't know what the deal is. U might be able to change it at the POE but if u can, leave it just the way it is. messing with change of address sometimes is a mess itself.

yes, you can give a new address to the immigration officer at the airport, however, it's not guaranteed that it will be used to actually mail you the card.

You MUST go through the immigration at NY airport.

I changed my address ay POE. Within 10 days I got my SSN at my new address and within 5-6 weeks I got my plastic card

it happens to some, and then others get the card mailed to the "old address".
