Hi all,

I am working in the US and decided to start the application of PR in Canada. I am preparing the the paper works. I get confused and feel it is hard for me to get the "Notarized employment contracts from your present and past employers". First, what is the employment contract? Is it just a notarzied offer letter? Thanks for help.

I was wondering the same thing, but since my employer did not make me sign a contract (some professions require that, like teachers, professors, etc) I had nothing to show CIC, so I simply ignored that part. I only sent a letter from employer stating my job duties, pay, etc, all the things mentioned in the application papers. It worked - I got an interview waiver. Good luck

What if you dont want to tell the your current employer how does that work?

please let me know.
Thanks,
Akhila

You don't have to tell them. Just make something up. Say you're applying for a bank loan and the bank is very picky....
