Hi,

I applied for the Permanent Residency status and got approved. Here are my dates:
Filed: 07/2000.
Approved for Permanent Residency: 12/2000.

Still waiting for Plastic Card. I called NSC and they mentioned that it could take up to three years to get it.

The time had come and I applied for the Citizenship (N400). Until this day I have not received the plastic card. Does anyone know of a way to get a direct answer to why its taking so long and where the hick is my card? I was looking through the following form (Form G-731):

http://www.ins.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/g-731.htm

Have anyone used this from before and did it do any good? Please let me know.

Thanks much!

No use

We get approved on 4/20/2001, stamped on 5/2/2001, not receive the plastic card, we called INS last August, Fax and mail the Form(Inquiry Status of Alian Card). Still no response from INS, Texas.

We asked our congressman\'s office, get "they are still processing Mar. 2000, you are ...", Gee, they are still talking about I485 which was approved on April 20, 2001!

I have no clue.

It\'be OK

Filled in March, 2000, now got message I\'ll get plastic this month.
