Hello, my husband and i had been working towards me becoming legal but unfortunately had a huge fight and cops were involved and the state ended up putting a protection order against him. I was wondering if this will affect my case? Will immigration not let me become legal since there’s a protection order. We do have 2 kids and been married for 3 years now, we been together since teenagers. I want to know if i should proceed with my legalization or just wait till everything is dismissed. Thank you.
