PP stamping At Chicago

Please share your experience in PP stamping at Chicago. I am planning to go for stamping in few days.

Is it enough to go with courtesy copy of approval notice ? or should I wait for original notice which Attorney has received ?

The approval notice says two PP PICTURE , I-94 AND PASSPORT TO CARRY.

I SEE SOME PEOPLE TAKE ALL OF THEIR EAD AND AP WHILE GO FOR STAMPING . IS IT NECESSARY ?

pLEASE SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE.

Reached there at 5:55 am, already 100 ppl in line
let us in at 7 am.
went thru security check
and was asked to go to second floor.
was given a token and asked to wait for out
number to come up.
Waited there for 2 hrs went and asked
at counter were they sure, that this the floor
I am supposed to be? They said Yes wait for
ur number to be called.
After 2 hrs old lady comes and says anybody who has 485
approval form a line.
We troop down to a small room on the 1st floor.
and we get out passports stamped in 15 minutes.
to ans your question, they take your EAD, AP, I-94

So be sure and ask and get into the 1st floor room
the room number on the approval notice seems to be crap

Then again why was I surprised, this is INS.

There ended my cLose encounters with the in-effcient Kind.

anyway, I should not be complaining, after all this
ordeal is nearly over and its nothing compared to ppl
who are waiting.

Please post ur experiences. Is coutesy copy enough ? what is form I-86 ? do we need to fill up ?
 
Form i86? or 89
No u do not need to fill it. you just sign and
stick ur index print on the space provided.

the ins officer will show u. With all the new fangled technology
they have, jerks still use the paper method
at the last stage. Ironic with FBI check u scan ur prints
at almost every ASC now this paper.

Should I give the change of address while they fill up I-89 ? also I had applied for AP renewal. It has also approved and went to Attorney directly. I don't know when they will mail to me.

Do I need to wait for that to go to PP stamping? or can I mail later to INS if I receive that ?

I appreciate your comments.
