it is pure luck my friend. There are no rules about this process. I know about a woman who is still waiting for her plastic card even though she got her passport stamped 18 months ago.

Got cards last week. Approval was late March and stamping was early April 2003. The online status changed a week before we got the cards. Good luck to the rest of you.

GC card not received.

Help me guys,

ME & MY WIFE GC was approved in FEB 2003 by NSC( Nebraska)

But for some reason I have not yet received physical green card.
MY Wife received her GC card one month back but still I have not received it.

What to do now? Any one are in the same situation?
Any HELP is appreciated.

So I'm curious: how does one know when the card was ordered? Did any of you guys call BCIS to check on the status or do you just simply wait until whenever?

I see that there are people who got stamped last month and already got their card.... should we just sit and wait and check the online status everyday or is there something we can do to check on the ordering status?

it is pure luck my friend. if you waited so long, it wont hurt you to wait few more months. I know a lady who has been waiting for 18 months ( she is originally canadian) and has not got it yet. Hope this is not the case for you. I am waiting too and my approval was on january

Address Change and effect on Service Center

Hi,
I am working in NJ. I am moving to WA next month.I have applied for
I140/485 in Vermont. Should the case be transferred to the Nebraska
center? (under which WA falls) or will the case be continued in VSC
itself?

Will my case be delayed on account of the address change?

Most likely, VSC would continue to process it. If a local transfer is done, it would be to an office in WA (Seattle or one of its sub-offices). In any case, you dont have to do anything about the transfer. VSC will do it, if necessary, and intimate you by USPS.

Of course, you need to inform BCIS about the address change.
