Plan to Travel on passport stamped...no card yet...

All,
My passport alongwith my spouse & son got statmped on 7/24/03,but have'nt recieved plastic cards. However my son'
s card we did recieve 3 weeks back. And i'm planning to travel to India in the month of dec.03, however i still have some time to get the cards, but incase if i don't recieve cards by then. If it's ok to travel with passport with just stamped. what all documents are recommended to support your stamping if at all required during immigration time. Any suggestions or experience are of immense value for me. So pl. share the experience.

This question was answered just last week. So may be if you search for that thread, you will get more responses.

Anyway, you are fine to just travel with the passport.
