Photo clarification req

Hi folks,

I need your advise regarding the Photos for 485 stamping at INS center.

On the approval notice the message say photographs are side face showing of the right ear.

As per Ins webside the photographs are Head facing to camera.

Please calrify which phtographs I have to take to INS.

Head facing to the camera, just regular passport photos. A friend of mine went for passport stamping a couple of weeks ago, the letter said he needed pictures "the old way", he took passport pictures (facing to the camera) and according to him everything went smoothly.
