Oct/Nov/Dec-03 EB2 yet not approved?!

Hi all,

I am looking for people here in the same boat -- I485 filed in 12/03, but still not yet see approval notice!

NSC processing date is moved to 02/04 for I485, yet we are still waiting...ing! Let's reply to this thread and have a look on how severe is situation.

I believe there should still be quite a few folks here -- let's get together and figure out WHY we are left behind...

Add me. But who ever completed their first finger print and 15 months passed then you are not going to get approval. Finger prints are good for 15 months. if they exprire you are nto going to. Take my case I did my finger print on May 18th 2004 and biometric on July 18th and My case LUD changed on August 19th and then did not change and called NSC officer and he said then The case was reviewed by an officer on 19th and by that time my finger print crossed 15 months and that is the reason he did not approved. I have to wait until I get my 2nd FP notice. I believe this.

So there is a long wait for us. If your Finger print did not complete then you have fair chances to get approval, if 15 months passed then do not visit USCIS and waste your time and most important BP.

One question for all of you friends - Since you are in EB2 category are you guys looking at Labor filing date as your priority date or your 485 filing date as the date according to which NSC will process your case. Can you help clarifying this? Thanks and Regards...
 
I'm looking at filing date of my case that is 11/18/2003

WHY - If the date for a category is current like EB2 as of now, it means that visas are available for everyone who has filed the case. Next thing is to look at filing date..

However, if the date has retrogressed that means that visas are available only for the people whose priority date (date of filing labor) is on or before the cutoff date. In that case 1 has to see the priority date first and then filing date.

That's my understanding..

Hey Gang -

Just wanted to drop a line to show a sign of solidarity to my fellow 2003 filers. Your turn will come. As Rsur, Nebraskan, and other people can attest to, the road to GC seems very very difficult to finish but hang in there, the end of the long tunnel will come eventually and I am really hoping that you will get your approval by the end of this month (or beginning of next month).

I am seeing many cases LUD touched in Aug 05 -- I've been tracking about 10-ish I485 cases filed on the same day (those case #s are close to mine) through online case status, and all of them, except 2 cases -- one of which is my case, have a LUD in 08/05.

I am very concerned... not knowing what's going on. Gurus, please comment.

Btw:
Does any of you folks, who have FP done in May/June 04, start to receive 2nd FP notice b/c 1st FP is about to expire after 15 months?
