NSC – June 2004 & Beyond Filers

My case status has been updated with "We have received the fingerprint review". BTW I got my FP done on 10/15/04

As per Online message, got RFE's for I-765 & I-131 (RFE Date: 10/26/2004) for both me and my wife. Don't know what it is yet.
Will the RFE be mailed to me or would it be sent to my attorney.
 
Hi ABC3,

I suspect the RFE could be for your photograph. I see most of the RFEs for 765/131. So guessing by the law of averages.

Kinda interested in AP as i need to travel, does the last update on AP mean anything, would i get it soon ?
 
RFE on I765, I131.
My attorney called me and told that i need to send color copies of an national identification document.
But my Indian passport has black & white photo on it. Please advice if anyone got this kind of RFE requesting for a color copy of identification document.

By the way my NJ driving license has a photo that is not that clear (Dark). Can I use it.

Dont recall sending my driver's license and yeah i look like a newly painted black car on my passport. so i guess i gotta wait n see

Online Status changed again today saying:
"This case has been approved. On November 3, 2004, an approval notice was mailed"

EAD Approved: 11/01/04
Online change: 11/02/04
AP Approved: 11/03/04
Online change: 11/03/04

Online change again for EAD today 11/03/04

What time did u recieve the e-mail confirmation about the AP approval?
My AP2 is been pending since 07/19, had a LUD yesterday for AP2 (11/02) and nothing changed today. I am kind of waiting for my AP2 too for travel.

Is NSC Processing July 2004 too?

It looks like NSC has multiple threads of processing-- working on different bundles of application.

One of them is July 2004. ???**####**?????

There were atleast two concurrent approvals with ND of
<:(> 07/02/04
<:(> 07/29/04

May be any of their dependant might be turning into 21 years soon. That might be the reason for these kind of approvals..

Not sure billtoo.. Now a days the AOR itself taking more than 3 months and that AOR doesn't have the processing date as receipt date, they are sending the AOR with whatever the current date..

my case i send my papers on aug 20th and i got my AOR on nov 17th.. AOR date will be the date of processing which is so weired..my application was sitting for more than 3 months without no one doing anything.

I filed my I-140 & I-485 recently(10/13/2004). Also thinking to apply for CANADA PR. Does this affect getting my I-485 in any way?

On a separate note, did you filed on your own? Or through a lawyer? I talked with an attorney, s/he said they would charge USD 2k to process my PR. Is it reasonable price?

No.. you can apply for both but maintaining both the PR will be chanllanging..
