Non Availability of Birth Certificate

Hi,
I have applied for GC for my father and I have got a letter asking for Birth Certificate. My father was born in 1935 and his birth was not registered. I have already in contact with yourmaninindia.com to get a Non Availability Certificate for my father.

If yourmaninindia.com is unable to get the certificate for some reason, what are my options. Can USCIS proceed without NABC?
 
does your father have any certifications like SSC or PUC which has his birthday? If so that should suffice but you might still get an RFE for NABC.
 
I already submitted his degree certificate which has his BOD and I got an RFE. I am trying to get his NBAC, but just wanted to find my options in case i cannot get NBAC. Thanks
 
nirensinha, I am in the same situation... my wife does not have a birth certificate and I had sent in an affidavit from parents (along with passport pages, SSC & rest). Still got the RFE and trying to reply back to the RFE.

Any updates on your end? Let us know...
