I have all my documents, but how may years back documnets you need to carry I guess a year would be fine.

I was aked for bank statements, she picked some from 05-06-07-08 and my last one from last month, I sarcastically suggested she can keep the whole folder,lol, so its up to you what to bring, if its marriage based it wont hurt to bring as much as you can, I speak from my experience, maybe you will be different ( i hope) but it will suck to have to come back because you didnt bring a paper that is sitting at home.

If Nat is not marriaged based but GC is marriaged based, The IO may briefly review how you got the GC.
 
Let's be positive. Maybe The IO did the applicant a favor by letting him
spend whole day there. He/she could have just sent the applicant
home after a 10 minute interviewe but requested to see documents
later by arranging a second interview etc.
