Hi,
One of my friend & his wife recently 2 weeks back came to US on J1. His question is , his wife is on J2, can his wife work in US? with j2 visa. If not what is the procedure for a j2 to work in US. I appreciate your valuable time and help

J2 is eligible to apply for EAD (I-765). Once u get an EAD J2 can work for any employee. EADs are usually given yearly for the duration of the J1's IAP-66.

people on j2 can work..i dotn know the rules..but they can work..and they are subjected to 2 yr hrr, i guess..
