Need help with H1 Visa Question

Hi,

One of my friend is applying for H1 and is a Single mother. She is coming from India to USA.

Is it possible for her to bring her mother to support her and her daughter in USA. How soon she can get her mother.

Any help will be really appreciated

One of my friend is applying for H1 and is a Single mother. She is coming from India to USA.
----- if her H1 is approved and she got H1 visa stamp from US consulate then she can come to US. Before she comes to US on H1 she should make sure the employer has REAL job and will pay her. If the employer does not pay her or she will go out of status. Why your "friend" cant post???
Is it possible for her to bring her mother to support her and her daughter in USA.
------NO. to support the child of her daughter is WORK. only her daughter can get H4 visa stamp not mother.
How soon she can get her mother.
----- Her mother is NOT eligible for H4 visa. Her Mother can apply Visitor visa and can come to Visit her. if she informs the consulate officer that she wants to go to US to look after the child of her Daughter the consulate will reject her Visitor Visa.

It will be better for her if she comes alone on H1 to leave the child with her mother and when she gets work and gets paid and rent the Apartment then she should bring the daughter. if she wants she can bring the child with her.
