Me & my wife both are on H1-B. I am planning to register a company (preferably LLC ) and was wondering how to do that. I would appreciate if
anyone can help we with that. I have the following options, which one do you think would be best :
1. Register LLC on my name.
I am in the process of applying for GC soon and heard from people that if I register LLC on my name,
it could impact my GC application negatively. What you think?
2. Register LLC on my wife's name.
I am going to put her name on my GC application (she's not applying for GC thru her compnay).
If there's any impact on my GC application as mentioned above, do you think this option 2 would avoid that?
3. Register LLC on my friend's name (who is also a partner).
He's currently in US on H1-B but will be leaving US soon. He is going to settle down outside of US.
So, if we register LLC by his name, how that would impact once he leaves the country?
Also, which state you think is best for us, if we go by option#3.
