Hello,
I have applied for change of status from J1 to f1. i dont have 2 year rule applied. my j 1 visa got expired on may 14 and right now i m on grace period waiting for approval of i 539. Now i have to go back to india because of some family problem. my question is can i go back to india while my application is in process and is it possible for me to come back to USA once my application is approved ? if yes is there any formality i have to done? and if not what can be done in my case? Hoping for an urgent reply..
