Dear friends,

I need advise on the processing time lines.

I have been working for an American company for the past four years on a managial position and my company promised me to get my L1 in June 2002. But my fiancee (USC) and I are planning to get married in March and that will lead me to file I130 as I understand.

Can anyone provide advise on the time lines to file L1 or I130? Any help will be greatlly appreciated.

Good luck to everyone.

If it\'s a solid marriage you\'re entering into, the Green Card petition through your spouse is the way to go. And you file both the I-130 and the adjustment simultaneously. I am assuming you entered the country legally since you are considering applying for an L-1.

Thanks for the post

Thanks for the advise, but I am still working outside of the States and planning to start the L1 process in June and wedding in Feb. Can I still apply for L1 if we didn\'t file I130 after marriage?

Many thanks.
