Yesterday (yes on halloween) I came to know from my local senator that my name check is cleared on 19th of October. I have also applied for 2nd AP/EAD renewal on 12th of October. My details are as below.

Any guess, how much time it will take for 485 approval after NC is cleared?
One possibility is, while USICS try to renew my EAD/AP they might consider approving 485 instead of AP/EAD approval.

My PD is current but RD is not current (485 receipt date).

Any guess?

Received Letter from Local Senator

Contacted local senator couple of weeks before regarding my namecheck pending, today I have received a letter from senator informing that my name check has been done.

Senator also has sent me a copy of the Texas Service center reply letter in which it says the following...

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Name check - done
Fingerprints - done 12/19/06 and good
Check back in 90 days if he has not heard from TSC. TSC is working overtime on these applications .

Bubliji,
Burra na maney to main aapkay message to correct karney ki zoorrat karoon. I have always noticed a consistent trend in postings by desis who use a "few day before" or "few days back" instead of "few days ago". I am desi too so feel bad about our ignorance of this language which we are required to use, even though we may or may like to use it, so better try to use it in most gramatically correct manner thereby avoiding being made fun of ourselves.

Corrected:

I WILL LEAVE IT UNCORRECTED ASSUMING THESE WORDS WERE ORIGINALLY USED IN THE LETTER YOUR SENATOR RECEIVED FROM TSC.
