Got letter from Senator's office with e-mail from Michael A Cannon saying that my name check request received on 28th June 2004 and completed on 27th Feb. 2006. :) Looks like they are clearing cases of 2004.
good luck to all who is waiting in FBI's line.....

Could you share how your senator went about it? Be'cos attempts by others (including me) got a response from Senator/ Congressman that FBI takes its time and they can do nothing. Wondering how it worked for you this time.

Also why do you feel that they started clearing 2004 name checks/

My info - wife and I filed together in Oct 2004 - gave fingerprints in mar '05. Wife got her GC in July'05 and mine is still pending security check for so long.

My name check has been pending since 2004 Feb and still nothing moving...

Since your name check clears as 2006 Feb, why do CIS still hold your GC ?
 
Name check..

I contacted GA senator. Last year I got reply from FBI saying my case is still pending. Last week I got response saying it is cleared in Feb 2006.
As my PD is not current, I have to wait.. :mad:
