My previous employer who is basically a desi-Tamilian and operates both from Chennai and here in Manassas VA is refusing to give relieving/experience certificates. He is telling that he has never given any such to anyone hitherto.
Also one of the senior managers there is commenting in a sarcastic way that he does not have a offer letter also. Every month he used to give a paycheck but not a paystub. Only on persistent requests he used to generate one every quarter to the requesting persons. And after my contract ended he is lamenting that final paystub request can be generated with W2 only.
Now I am afraid whether he would spin a story that since financial year has changed he can not generate pay stubs for the previous years.
It looks like a bonded labor or forced one. How to get the relieving/expereince certificates and paystubs?
